What is South Shore up to next? Do you want to be involved?
Saturday June 25th, 2016 9:00 a.m. River Clean-Up Lower Carp- Meet at access road to Mt. Marquette
We will meet at the access road to Mt. Marquette and walk the lower Carp River this Saturday at 9:00 a.m. The cleanup will last for about an hour with coffee and donuts to follow. Come enjoy a beautiful U.P. morning while helping to sustain and clean an important waterway to our current and future fishery. Bring your kids and friends!
What is a River Clean up?
Members and volunteers from the community pick a local stream and we spend the day removing debris and trash from the waters and banks. We have removed multiple tons of materials from rivers with the hope that we can make a difference in the health of the streams that support our spawning fish and are also a place where the community fishes.
